Boot Camp! We will get started by 6:15 so if you want to stretch, come early!
We will meet on the little hill next to the bathrooms at the track.
Bring a towel and get ready to do some hard core training and plyometrics. (Plyometric movements, in which a muscle is loaded and then contracted in rapid sequence, use the strength, elasticity and innervation of muscle and surrounding tissues to jump higher, run faster, throw farther, or hit harder, depending on the desired training goal. It's where speed and power meet)
I am not a professional trainer so only do what you know your body can handle. I have taught a boot camp course before, but at this point I am not certified. We will do a mile warm up and then do about 45 minutes of exercises (stomach, arm and leg rotations). We will finish with an 800 (1/2 mile) cool down. I will bring drinks, you bring the energy!
